The following two photos will help you as you get closer to Arthog Outdoor Education Centre

These directions make the assumption you are coming from Dolgellau, where the turn off is not as obvious if you were coming from Friog and  Fairbourne.

On entering Arthog village on the A493 from Dolgellau, continue past the turn off for Morfa Mawddach railway station on your right and the war memorial on the left, SLOW down on these bends as the turn for the Centre is just around the corner shown in the photo below.

 

This first photo shows the big steel barn ahead (centre) and layby to the left, the turn up hill to the centre is around the next bend get ready to slow down and indicate to turn left.

This is the turn up to the centre, take care not to take it too tight as there is a small exposed boulder buried in the road on the left.
Please drive slowly up the steep hill and respect the 10 mph speed limit, the farm, and people walking up and down the hill.
